We've just moved to Singapore and I'd like to hire a part time maid. Can anyone advise how much approx we would be paying. We're interested in once or twice a week for 3 or 4 hours with babysitting once a week.

I wouldnt think so but again, its all new to me. I know that when we were in the States we couldnt play our UK version Playstation. Someone will surely give you the answer.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I was a bit over optimistic. It would have been too good. We will visit all sorts of accommodation, check out the different areas and sort it out once we actually get there.

I've had a couple of good tips in reply to my post about accommodation near the French school. I have to post a few times before it allows me to get in touch directly with the people themselves but in the meantime, does anyone know of any cluster houses near the French school?
