Yes, I have seen lots of Peking Duck here but it is not the same as the UK !!! Here it is always served with pancakes that resemble mini omlettes, not thin flat dough type pancakes that you get in the UK. Totally different texture and taste. Also as described before the staff will slice off the skin...

UK style crispy duck ?

Any idea where in Singapore one could find UK style crispy duck ? The local version is served with skin & fat in a mini-omlette, then they take the duck away and strip the meat and stir-fry it. What I'm looking for is the UK style where they serve it with small "popiah skin" type pancakes in a steam...

Simply buy an Amazon Gift Voucher and use that to purchase your book for download. Gift vouchers have no Geographical meta-data ( unlike Credit Cards which contain this information ...

I'm an IT Pro and I did do a search first, honest ! Most of the answers seem to be from a long time ago. Things change rapidly ( particularly in Singapore it seems ) so I thought it worth asking again. I was there in 2001 and it all seemed pretty Westernised. I heard they tore down all the Kampongs....
