Hi RNT,

I guess SMS has never been pregnant before, lol. Therefore he doesn't know the pain that most pregnant women have to go through.

Home food delivery/ catering - suggestion please

Hi everyone, I am 6 weeks pregnant and struggling to do anything. It's only me and my husband. He works long hours so by the time he gets back home, he is already too tired to do cooking. I managed to walk to local kopitiam today to get my lunch but it was hard work as I feel tired all the time. I a...

Thank you Nassaugirl. The unit that we saw is at the far end overlooking the gym. Do you think this is quieter as it is futher from the pool? Is it safe for a woman to walk around the little India area at night on her own? Do you think Doby Ghault MRT station is walkable or is it better to go to Lit...

Views on Parc Emily

Hi all, We are currently looking for an apartment. We went to see Parc Emily. It’s a 3 bedroom asking for S$5800. We really like it but it is very expensive and it’s actually above our initial budget of S$ 4500. If we negotiate they will probably come down to around S$5200. Any views on this condo? ...

I must say this is a very interesting thread indeed. I am Indonesian and my husband is English (and he is a year younger than me before anybody makes any assumptions). We met when we both working in a holiday resort in Maldives. We got married in our early 20s with no money, just because of love (so...

Thank you all.

We can't wait to be in Singapore now and to escape from British weather :-) Singapore number 11 on the quality life and UK is number 29, wow, that's a bit of a difference! definately it will be an improvement for us to move to Singapore then.

Thanks everyone. Thanks Hannah for sharing, it's very useful. I am quite worried to move as it sounds like that I might have to be jobless for months. In London, eventhough there are lots of job freeze or job cuts but there are still PA jobs around. Not as many as last year but as long as you have t...

Thank you all. That's a relief to know that we can still save some money with only one income. Smayrhofer, you mentioned that you spent quite a bit because you go out a lot? I thought from the forum, people say the food in Singapore is cheap? We cook almost everyday here in London, but we hope to be...
