You can buy Brita at Homefix. At Tangs they have the Panasonic brand but the refills cost much more at S$75. I couldn't see any Brita's there but you can ask them.

you can buy castor oil from the spice shop in Little India that is along Buffalo Road, in Tekka Market. it's on the ground floor where the taxi stand is.
