Good expat site like this one but for China

Dear All,

I am not longer moving to Singapore but will be heading off to China in a few months.

Can anyone point me to a Expat website which is as good as this one but that deals with Mainland China.

I have looked but with little or no luck.

Thanks in advance

Adam

Thank you

I would like to say a big thank you. Thanks for the heads up the jeans will be packed. Sharjah creek and swimming, not that I know of. Being in Dubai for just over two years I have tied to avoid Sharjah only going there when I got lost on the way to the Dubai creek, the joys of the roads out here! H...

Jeans - yes its an odd question

Hi, I have been told by a mate who lived in Singapore that jeans are one thing I will probably not wear. Living in Dubai when the weather hits the high 40's for 4 months of the year I still tend to wear them and don't feel to hot e.t.c. Can you please advise if my mate is telling me the truth or is ...

The rents I have been looking at range from 1000 to 1400 per month which I believe isn't far off a mortgage payment, but trying to find a property...

Sharing and cooking

Hi everyone, I have a question again. I am checking out adverts for sharing a apartment / condo and there seems to be a few which state cooking allowed. Can you let me know if this is the norm and if you can't cook in the apartment what are you meant to do? cheers I have tried to find a post on this...

What is a common room

Dear All, I have a chance to move out to Singapore for a job and I am currently looking at sharing for the first 6 months or so. Can someone please let me know what a common room is in regard to renting? I am at a loss. I would be working close to Tanjong Pager MTR, is that a cheap area to rent or s...
