Re: tired of paying for SEO marketing when the response does not cater to my needs.

Even though the post is a bit old, the issue of SEO not meeting needs is still very relevant. From what I’ve read recently, there are some good resources about SEO for doctors, like the page about SEO for doctors from xxxxx, a renowned SEO agency, which offer a clear perspective on how to tailor you...

Re: Is it easy to get a reverse payment for online purchase via credit card?

getting a reverse payment on a credit card isn’t usually too hard if you have a good reason, like fraud or a mistake. Just contact your bank as soon as you notice the issue and they’ll walk you through the process.

Re: Invoicing using FIN number

Just make sure your client is okay with it, and if you're unsure, it might help to double-check with a tax professional.

Re: House moving quotations

Some movers might give a low quote to win your business and then adjust the numbers later on. It might help to ask for a detailed breakdown of what's included and any possible extra fees.

Re: Whistleblower calls out alleged unfair hiring practices in Singapore banking industry

The situation in Singapore regarding unfair hiring practices at Citibank is similar to issues in the US, where whistleblowers report the hiring of foreigners instead of locals, leading to inefficiency and high costs. This page mentions that these whistleblowers need legal protection to express their...

Re: Shopee experience

I’ve had some issues with returns on Shopee too, where they just send those template replies and don’t really help much. It’s so annoying when merchants refuse to refund after receiving the item back. I’d say you’re not alone, but it’s definitely a good idea to stick to platforms that feel more reli...

Re: Scammers operating in Shopee

I’ve heard similar stories with Shopee, where sellers mark items as delivered when they aren't. It's always a good idea to check the seller's reviews and contact their support if something goes wrong.

Re: Tricky situation in which visa to activate in SG

You should be able to stay in Singapore with the IPA letter until April 2025 without any issues. The PEP does allow for a 6-month break, so you can use that time for maternity and recovery. However, when it comes to the review in 2026, the MOM may expect you to meet the income requirement, so starti...

Re: PMLA Processing Time Taken More Than 1 month

Since it's already been over a month, waiting another week might be a good idea, just in case it gets approved soon.

Re: PR and SC is not the reality for most expats here at MBFC

It’s interesting how different things are now. The new walkways make it so much easier to get around the MBFC area. I’ve noticed a lot of expats just come to work and then move on, kind of like in Dubai.

Re: Housing Provisions for Malaysian Cleaners

I’m not sure about specific companies, but I’ve heard that some cleaning companies in Singapore do provide housing for Malaysian cleaners, especially if they are hiring them for long-term contracts.
