Re: Parent did not accept the PR for whole family and will affect to my sole application?

Does your spouse also fall under “Others” race? That could also be a headwind, especially if they are Korean… not as convincing on the integration aspect, and lends even more to the concerns SE raised. I am not sure about her race as “Other” category She is ‘Indonesian Chinese’ Her PR process was v...

Re: Parent did not accept the PR for whole family and will affect to my sole application?

You can't tell what the ICA people think, but my guess is that since you are an adult in your own right, your father's status and prior application have nothing to do with it. Since you're at the age of majority, your application is considered on your own merits and your big problem is that your ra...

Re: Parent did not accept the PR for whole family and will affect to my sole application?

Your father was PR and his son not PR so it means you have not done national service. Granted it maybe that your father's English not good and did not understand fully but they will assume that your father wanted to avoid NS for his son and now his son want to become PR, they will remmeber that to ...

Re: Parent did not accept the PR for whole family and will affect to my sole application?

Singapore immigration is not like other countries… turning down such an offer can be like refusing a lovers advances… she can feel hurt that you don’t reciprocate, and she never, ever forgets. Even if this was no fault of your own, you have now dodged NS obligations intended for you as a second gen...

Parent did not accept the PR for whole family and will affect to my sole application?

I've been struggling with the title, and I wasn't sure how to phrase it, so I just wrote it like that. I didn't ask my dad for the exact details because I think his memory might not be too clear. In 2009, my dad came from Korea to work in construction for the Marina Bay Sands hotel project. He worke...

Re: Long-Term Visit Pass and Permanent Residence applied within a single application

SAME CASE WITH ME! Wow, I even visited ICA in April 2024 to ask about the difference between the multiple-product bundle and individual applications, but We have misinformed by the officer... They told you that the multiple-product option would save money and that both applications would be processe...

Re: Regarding Bundle application PR/LTVP

As long as you are employed, I would probably just keep waiting. What immediate benefit do you get if you withdraw the application, re-apply for LTVP, and it is approved in a short period of time? Peace of mind? If for some reason you become unemployed (and need a way to stay here), then you'll nee...

Re: Regarding Bundle application PR/LTVP

I got the result for LTVP+PR application for my kid after 7 months. Keep an eye on the buttons to update employment info/withdraw application. If they disappear, chances are the result will be released soon. That’s amazing news for you! Congratulations to you and your little one! 🎉 I applied on 2nd...

regarding PR/ LTVP and Bundle application...

Hey forum members, I have a question regarding visas. I'm Korean, and I got married (ROM) in June 2024. So, my wife is a PR, and I’m currently on an Employment Pass. Since my job has been unstable lately, my wife sponsored my PR and LTVP applications. Now, here’s my question. Before we applied for P...
