working in hotel as purchaser

Do anyone know more on Hotel buyer/purchaser job in Singapore? I am thinking of taking up a course name "Certificate in Hotel Buying Skills" but i do not know what is the demend in Singapore. Can someone enlighten me?? Thanks!!!!

My plan is to start off with the low ends type.
