Re: PEP application from abroad

Really appreciate both feedback. I was thinking of proceeding with a friend in sg. Definitely deserves a good dinner for the effort. I lived in Singapore 10y ago and had an ep. As I qualify for pep this would give me more freedom if I want to change job as EP is linked to your employer. That’s at le...

Re: PEP application from abroad

Thanks bgd.
I am ok with requirements. My initial questions were on the process itself which is not really clear from mom website. See my first post.

Let me know if you can clarify.
Thanks in advance!

Re: PEP application from abroad

Thanks. I will definitely not move to SG without a job. Just being proactive not to have to wait for 2 months before starting my new job.

Thanks again.

Re: PEP application from abroad

No job offer. Currently interviewing and anticipating.
Does this change anything with regards to my application? Requirements do not mention job offer.

Thanks in advance

PEP application from abroad

Hi all, Apologies in advance if this Topic was already addressed in the past but I could not find the information I need. I am currently living in the us and wish to apply for the pep. I have checked requirements and it should be fine. However I am a bit lost with the application process. Based on t...

Thanks! I've been to Sim Lim Square and found this place very tricky. You definitely have to know what you want. Maybe you guys can help me because I had at least 3 different answers regarding my US IPhone that I want to unlock: - One retailer told me that he could unlock my Iphone for SGD50. - Anot...

Sofa Bed

Hi,

I tried to follow some advice found on this website. I've been to the furniture mall & Barang Barang but couldn't find any sofa bed! I would like to avoid Ikea or at least keep it as my last option.
Do you know where I could find a sofa bed (Queen mattress)?

Thanks!

Icon & Tanjong Pagar

Hi, I've visited an apartment in Icon condo today and I have to say that the complex is amazing. Really nice pool, tennis courts... However one of my concern is the area. If someone lives around Tanjong Pagar (or at Icon) I'd like to know: - how it is at night & week-ends: restaurants, bars... - do ...

Thanks AngMoKio! Sorry for the late reply but we're moving tomorrow... so a lot of things to think of! For your information I had a really interesting conversation with AT&T: to be short they are not able to give the pin codes to unlock the i-phone. The US is the only country where monopoly seems to...

Serviced apartment

Hi, My wife and I are moving to Singapore from NY early June. My company will pay for a serviced apartment for a month but it looks like our furniture will not make it within a month (probably 2 months). I had a look at the serviced apartment my company is paying for and I can definitely not pay for...

Thanks for your quick feedback Durain. I have 2 additional questions: - can I find a PAL/NTSC converter? Will HD feature work? Or should I stop figuring out a solution, sell my TV and buy a new one in SG that handles both NTSC and PAL? - My wii is only 110V. You're talking about a step down transfor...

Moving to Singapore: what to bring?

Dear all, I'm moving with my wife from New York to Singapore early June and we are currently deciding on what to bring there. Meaning what electronics device will or will not work there. Sorry if some questions seem "stupid" but I'm definitely not a geek... - US Sony HD TV LCD: I verified behind the...
