I have just bought a property. I with my family is settling down here in Singapore. So for us for long run (mainly for the settling up of family, not for investment), it will be better to buy instead of renting a property.

Renting fee is quite expensive here in Singapore. >$2.5K to rent a 2-3 bedroom condominium, if you are renting a condo near to downtown areas, can be >$4k. To rent a 3 bedroom HDB, it can be >$2k, and >$2.5k at the downtown areas.

I checked with some of the major retails of electirical home appliances, including Gain City, Best, Harvey Norman and Kitchen Culture, but none of them sells the item... O, it is so difficult to get a dish sterilizer in Singapore... sigh...
