They told me kids can do either IB or AP or both but it will be academically challenging. I do not know much about both but they said IB is very popular.

fee k1 to grade 5 $22,680
application fee $2,700
facility fee $3,500
deposit $7,000

add 7% tax

I checked out this school about 1 month+ ago. I like their small class size and there is mandarin everyday. (or spanish)

You can do both IB and AP diploma but it's very challenging.

Have you checked Stamford American International School? Temporary campus is next to Australian International School and swimming pool is shared at the moment(not a bad thing). American teachers and curriculum. Offer both AP and IB.

Stamford American School has a small class size... about 8 kids at the moment. It's good for very young kids.

I just can't stand causeway traffic and immigration checkpoint. I don't understand why they have to check so much when we go and in and out. Anybody knows? The rest of the country is OK.

No harm trying. Just make sure kids are happy to do it.

Thank you for replies.
Yes, UWC starts their school trip super early. Grade 3 will have 3 day trip. I think they have trips for all grades.

I agree with Road that mom should not stick with kids too much... just like my case. Way too much and so hard to let go.

UWC School Trip

We were told that our kid should join a school trip. It's not compulsory but expected. My little girl is always with me. It's good for her to be independent but quite hard for me to let go although it's only 3 days.
Can someone share experience about UWC trip?

Thank you
