Well, for me, the article in question is hard to take seriously (I'm not even mentionning the admitted mistakes at the bottom of the article).

Singapore is very expensive dude. But why do you want to come to Singapore? Are you a tourist? Singapore is a very hyped up place.. you will get bored in one or two weekends..Try Malaysia or Thailand or even Australia... Yeah, I'm a tourist and I'm sure that the place is large enough to spend 3 mon...

wow ... I'm left speachless :(
I thought that Japan was the most expensive country in term of accommodation!

Ok then, as a foreigner in Singapore, what kind of other private (no dorm) accommodation can I get for S$1600/month max.?

Thanks!

BTW, maybe it isn't a "service apartment" that I'm looking for.

I don't need a pool, a shopping mall or things like that.

What I get in Japan is a small and clean 25m2 studio, completely furnished and with internet access.
I need no more.

Does it exist in Singapore?

Hello again. Well, I need some more help because all the apartments I find literally cost an arm! I can't afford to pay S$3500/month (1700 euros) for a budget serviced apartment :( In Japan, the maximum I pay is 800 euros/month (S$1600). Is it possible to find something along the same price tag in S...

Thanks :) A short explanation as to why I was asking this question : Actually, I'm not Japanese, I'm French, but the only foreign languages I can speak are English and Japanese. And to be honest, in term of socialization, I'm more at ease with the japanese language than with the english one :( That'...

Hello,

Short term monthly condo/flat for tourists : how/where?

Hello, I'm tempted to stay between 1 and 3 months in Singapore but I would like to know if there are private flats (no dormitories) that can be rented for such a short period (internet access in the flat will be needed too). If yes, how much do they generally cost and what are the popular websites t...
