I have been in Singapore for 8 years and there is only one thing that worries me and makes me want to go back: social security & healthcare ... Check out the CPF system and see if you're OK with it. Other than that, Singapore must be the ideal place for a single professional to live.

It's just the smell of the place. God, I wish I can smell it again!! I'm immune to it already. Once in a while I will get a whiff for a very short instant, and whoaa ... All the memories of my 8 years here pass before my eyes ...

I tried to contact SBSC but the number I found on the web is not valid. I tried calling Klassic also but the lady who answered the phone didn't speak English. With my little Chinese I asked her if there was anyone who did, she said no! Interesting place indeed ...

I have been in Singapore for 8 years and after quite a number of unsuccesful tries in my first years, I began trimming it myself and having it cut by my barber back in my home country when I go back for vacation once a year .... Good luck in your search! I am sorry I can't recommend any good barbers...
