We are bringing home our helper for about 9 months (visa is valid for 1 year). What kind of insurance can we get her in the US?

We are moving out of our flat next month and I am looking for a painter who has reasonable prices for doing some touch-up work and helping to patch up the wall where pictures and mirrors were hanging.

Anyone have any good recos?

i have heard from a few locals (singaporean and malaysian) that it's quite dangerous to drive to malaysia...it's an easy ride in terms of directions - straight shot to KL, but if you break down or get a flat tire, it can be very dangerous....

Anyone know where I can find large clear plastic cups and ones for wine? I've looked at Fair Price and at Tanglin Mall and they have really tiny ones made by Duni.

I am 19 weeks pregnant and have Dr. LC Foong at Gleneagles Hospital. He's fantastic - doesn't push either c-section or natural. Speaks clearly and I never feel rushed at his appts.

was going to recommend fidgets, also you can rent out the playhouse at Rochester Park Cafe and West Coast Park (playground/picnic). Does your blding have a function room that you can use? It's getting hot out for a 2 year old so we always tend to go somewhere that has an option for a/c.

agree with the above post. we didn't like gymboree and now do little gym in the forum - my son loves it. there's also kindermusik (tanglin mall), but it gets a little repetitive, julia gabriel (forum), mac's music (forum), magic fiddler (across from forum) and jwt gym (ue square).

My son has been at JG (mandarin program) since 20 months at the Forum location and has loved it! He is now 28 months.
