As far as I know different companies have different requirements here as far as medical check-up is concerned.

MOM on the other hand is only concerned about whether or not you have HIV and TB.

Just like some of the previous posters, I explore and eat in cheap joints in Singapore. Just 2 weeks ago, I was able to "discover" a cheap and authentic Thai foodstall in a hawker somewhere in Bencoolen Street... Better than the ones in Golden Mile Building!! :D
