it seems like a decent offer.... but ofcourse depends on your line of work. if you have been renting an apartment in mumbai then your total expenses including taxes (which are lower here) would be roughly similar. i left mumbai a long time ago so please do double-check.

we have friends who gave up PR for their sons when the kids turned 18 and went overseas for studies. unfortunately, none of the kids are back here for work. during the study period, however, they applied and got social visit pass to come visit their parents.

hi k1w1, the applicant has to make a choice whom to sponsor for PR....... only spouse, full family etc. Kids can continue on DP post-parent's PR and apply for student's pass when they start attending school. Priority for local school admission is given if the child is PR. Many don't apply for PR for...

For Primary 1 you can easily get admission.... they don't ask for a test unless your child joins school in the middle of the year or it is Primary 2 onwards. I am not sure whether the test has been scrapped as mentioned by K1W1. If your child is born in calendar year 1999, he can start Primary 1 in ...

Lots of non-Tamil Indians are learning their mother tongue or 'Hindi' the Indian national language. So are a few foreigners learning chinese. 'Sit i...
