Found out that POSB and DBS has merged and that both requires minimum 500 SGD plus introduction from an existing (at least 6 months) depositor. Thus, I decided to open at OCBC. Less hassle. Bank Account

We are required to open a bank account for our payroll. The agent advised us to open in a local bank. When we tried in POSB, they are asking for min of S$500 but with introduction from somebody who has account on them. Is there a local bank that would not require introduction? Job Offer

I don't get relocation allowance (including tickets to Singapore) and there was no mention about 13th month pay in the contract. Is this normal?

I heard about the tests regarding HIV and HEPA. There was no mention about Goiter though. I hope it would not be counted against me.

E-pass

How long is the average processing time for the e-pass? My agent specified Nov 1 in the contract as my start date but the processing of my pass only started last Tuesday.

Are u permanent or contractual? My offer is for permanent also EP. I'm really worried. I'm afraid that they'd reject me once I'm in Singapore. I'd have to bring back all my stuff plus I'd be losing my current job for this. It's too risky.
