Try looking for apartments @ Robertson Quay/ Clark Quay/ Holland Road cos that's where the happening places are for drinks. Look for studio apartments.

Do visit Sentosa, it's an interested place for tourists and locals. There's a new Universal Studio there.

U may wish to get your own English tea as it's not cheap sold here. Furniture wise, this country has everything you could ask for as there are some DYI shops that will cater to your needs.
