Just to give you a rough idea if you wanted to look at apts away from the school, we live just behind Orchard and our bus leaves for Lakeside at 7.45 and returns at 4.10. My kids are 8 & 4 and they both love the bus as it gives them a little down time with their friends or to read and my youngest ha...

La Villa River Valley Road - $65 adults buffet (I think kids are around $20) plus free flow prosecco (for adults!!). Plus bouncy castle for the kids. Fab value for money and you can sit overlooking the kids whilst they play. Huge green area for them to run too.

My daughter attends Little Village on Grange Road and has an absolute ball! I would say it is a more 'local' nursery but with a good mix of expats thrown in the mix. She has 1 local 'english' teacher and 1 Mandarin teacher (speaking only mandarin) in class - she comes home having learnt some lovely ...

I can thoroughly recommend the Canadian School, my 7yr old son attends the Toh Tuck campus - bear in mind that they will be moving next October to the new Lakeside campus at Jurong West and the new school / facilities look great. If it's on your list then it may be worth a drive over for a look - I ...

Whilst I dont attend with my kids, I personally attend Chiropractic First in Great World City - although they do have centres throughout the city. They appear to be a very family forward practice and there are always children in there when I attend.
Good luck!

Does anyone know if it's possible to take my helper on vacation to HK? If so, what paperwork do I need?

Thanks

Anyone around Leonie Hill want to meet for coffee/playdate?

We're a British family moving from HK to SG in a few weeks and I wondered if anyone fancied meeting up for coffee & playdates (and possibly the occasional G&T after mum's hours!)? My hubbie will be working in Great World City and we will be living in the Leonie Hill area - my 2 kids are 6 (boy) & 2 ...
