Hi, My daughter is in year 2 and is at the east campus. They will move to Tampines in August where the facilities will be a lot better than what they are at AMK. The drama and art departments are really incredible. As it is a PYP program at UWC they do what is called a "Unit of Enquiry" each term. T...

I am a UWC East mum and we are very happy with the school. I don't have experience first hand of the other schools but there are a few ex Canadian School students now at UWC in my daughter's class and their parents were not happy at the previous school for a variety of reasons. If you would like spe...

Starting a second business off the same company ??

Hi all, We have an incorporated company here. My husband and I are both directors. He is holding an Entrepass and I am on a DP. (I am not actively involved in his business). Now that he is trucking along nicely, the time has come for me to think about doing my own business. So my question is - can I...

DENTAL TREATMENT FOR MAID

Hello Our maid has only been with us for one month and we have just found out she has a compacted wisdom tooth (Probably had problems with it before she joined us) . We have taken her to GP and covered all the medical and drug costs to clear the infection but we have been told that removing the toot...

It is not a criticism - more a questio...

HSBC Offshore (JErsey) sorted our Singapore accounts for us before we came. We had to go in to the international office in Dubai to sign some stuff but it was all opened before we arrived - no hassles.

Strong Eagle, we moved a 10 year old business to Singapore and put significant capital into the account. Still a no go. There is no need to name the agency. I did not post to tell you not to use an agency or to damage their business. (In fact the guy that I was dealing with in the end was actually v...

Setting up in Singapore. EP vs Entrepass. Worth sharing

Hi folks, just thought I would tell you about our recent experience bringing our company to Singapore in the hope that it may well help someone and save them the time wasting and the grief we went through. Because we were based in a country in a very different timezone, we decided to use a visa agen...

My daughter is a bit older and goes to Alpha Gym at Big Splash on the inner east coast. They have great toddler classes as well.It is quite small (kids seem to like that) but is a proper gym with sprung floor etc
