FYI, SAIS follows the Virginia state curriculum and are now candidate for the IB program as well. They do not follow a British based curriculum.

Tanusa,

Thanks again for your input. Appreciate it. We are hoping to find something nearer to school and have been looking within a 10 mins drive. Also in service apartment currently but cannot wait to settle into a permanent home.

Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Thanks again.

Tanusa - I did read some of your other posting on SAIS. They were helpful. I am currently looking for a permanent place to stay. So many places but I am hoping to be around the school. Any thoughts on that?

Current SAIS parents with kids in K1 and K2

Hi,

My girls will be starting K1 & K2 after Chinese New Year at SAIS. Are there anyone with kids there? Just want to prepare my girls before they start.

Thanks.

buying children books

Hi all,

Can anyone suggest a good place / website to buy children books at great prices?

For example, in UK, we buy from www.bookpeople.co.uk / USA - www.booksamillion.com.

Does anyone know of equivalent here in Singapore?

Thanks.
