27/f here, if anyone fancies a bite to eat or a cuppa, give me a shout. I'm always up for meeting new people and making new friends. Pettal1 - you could also try out some of the language schools here, they offer part time beginner courses for Mandarin etc. Ikoma (in orchard) or NUS extension program...

Ikoma language school in Orchard specialises in Japanese and Mandarin classes (I'm currently taking a Japanese course there). I believe Parkmall also has a language school, NUS extension program of some sort, teaching various languages. 2 of my friends just started their beginner Mandarin class, twi...

I received my PR last year and had to book an appointment online, even then, I had about 2 hours wait before my queue number was called. So just be prepared to wait a little. If you have all your documents in order, then it will be a little time consuming but hassle-free process.

Wow, has londres really lost it's mojo? Welcome to Singapore though! I don't think it's impossible for you to get a company to apply for an EP on your behalf, but it might take time. Personally, it took me a while (6 months) to get an employer who was willing to apply and process my first EP applica...

I think most international schools here would provide such facilities. I can only speak from personal experience, I studied at Dover Court and UWC here. Dover Court definitely provides wheelchair access because they provide education for students with special needs. I believe UWC does as well, at le...

Just a thought, you might also be interested in Tanglin Trust School http://www.tts.edu.sg/ Many students from TTS also end up at UWC for their IGCSE's and I.B. exams (at least when I was there). The waitlist is generally very long for all 3 schools, ranging from 6 months to 2/3 years. Good luck and...

Hi everyone, hope you're all well. Just thought I would share some insight on Dover Court and UWC as I've studied in both these schools, I'll try and be as objective as possible. :) I joined Dover Court as an ESL student and moved to UWC before taking my IGCSE's (O' levels equivalent I presume) - it...
