Those 10K bills sound very outrageous to me. I delivered at NUH, had a private room at Ward 96 and a senior consultant gynae. Was a vaginal delivery without complications, but with epidural. The total bill was ~$4000, around half of it was covered by Medisave (I'm a PR). I looked at MANY hospitals b...

23C aircon, cotton pajamas (long sleeve footies as GAP or Children's Place), thin cotton sleeping bag (Halo). My one year old sleeps 11hours straight.

Several friends of mine has used Harry Elias, apparently highly recommended and specialise in this area. Last I checked, Harry Elias does mostly commercial law. But if you want to pay $500/hour... I will look him up... As for the fees, actually I have no idea what lawyer fees are like in Singapore....

As an expat, I looked EXTENSIVELY for a delivery hospital I like, and I changed several gynaes. So, hands down, National University Hospital (NUH) Ward 96 beat all the state and private hospitals I looked at. I am a Singapore PR married to a citizen. We have two kids, 1 and 3.
