We found a fantastic apartment in Costa Rhu (east caost) in the Olivia building BUT it is west facing and everyone seems to be advicing us against it. Anyone ever lived in a west facing apartment ? How bad does it get ? All the rooms are facing west !

Does anyone have any experiences of these places or any advice ? I was keen on the Marina bay ( 6 marina blvd) because it is 5 min to Raffles MRT) and so I may be well connected. it is also 5 min to the merlion park and that might be good with a 4 year old in tow. Are they very common ? Even in high rises ? Are they harmful ? Is there a way to control them (trap etc). I have a 4 year old and worry he will run after them or they will be in his stuff. I am super icky about these creatures !!!!
