I know what you mean about hawker food. I second Sky cafe for the ambience, I've never tried their food but looks quite tempting. For a cheaper option, go to Obriens or Cedele Depot. Obriens salad is a tad too greasy though. I prefer their sandwiches. I quite like the vegetarian food at Whatever Caf...

The wig store at Far East Plaza is called Fortune Wig. I think they've another outlet in Lucky Plaza. Their wigs are quite costly, varying from $250-450. But i heard they use much better quality fibre, easier for maintenance in the long run. I went there recently, dont think I've seen any long white...

Hey Cosmo, East coast is no doubt quieter as it's more residential and of course the park. I much prefer the area than Tanjong Pagar as i like the feeling of suburban surroundings after a long hectic day in the busy area. But if you're single, new to the city, some prefer living right in the city..f...

There's quite a few places doing so. Cafe Le caire at Arab Street is cheaper for their shisha. Quite a fair bit of variety. But it gets so busy at times that you've to keep bugging the waiter. I once tried the one at Clarke Quay but i think it closed down. Kazbar, Ambrosia are some places you can fi...

It is true in some ways that most korean and japanese men are attracted to women who are more feminine..not stereotyping. Hmm i don't know many western born asians who sees feminity as a weakness or degrading. At least the ones I know are feminine, can be quiet yet outspoken and aggressive when nece...

There are many organic shops around. One at Novena Square, can't remember the name. Another at the shopping mall next to centrepoint, not sure if it's still around. It has rather limited selection. I heard there's a new one at specialist shopping mall. Brown Rice Paradise is quite ok, but a pity the...

Hey Foxhana, You can find pomegranate juice at Eat Organics in Bukit Timah Road. I forgot the number but you can find the info easily. It's featured in this month's Shape Magazine. Camomile green tea can be found in some organic stores. I haven't tried buying them in Singapore. But i vaguely recalle...

Hey Kobedayou, Hmm you could have tried calling the japanese mobile provider to unlock your keitai before you cancelled the line. I experienced the simlock issue when I used the local simcard with my phone from the states. What I did was call up the mobile provider back in the states and unlocked it...

Heya mako, I think you should summon the courage and go in, inquire about the services they provide. You don't have to purchase anything as long as you're firm. Spa Esprit at Holland Village is quite lovely, i like the cosiness. I used to go to this place for deep tissue massage, recommended by a pil...

Ah I haven't tried good cajun food over here. Must try South Cove then. I agree that the fast food in US taste quite crappy as compared to some Singapore ones. I had macdonalds once and it was nasty! Will make u lose any cravings for junk food. I think singapore perhaps puts in abit more effort..hmm...

I like the paintings at Red Sea Gallery. Good value..hmm depends if you're seeking something cheap or an art that you appreciate down the road.

Good luck with the search.

I say enjoy your beer scoots. Hmm I've noticed that some asians tend to stare particularly on public transportation. But Im used to it and quite oblivious until my friends point it out. Maybe there's really something wrong with my face. I should cut a hole in my papers on the train and stare back at...
