Hi res1

You may have found these items by now but if not I'm pretty sure Cold Storage sells non-bio washing powder. Otherwise try 360 Marketplace (top of Ion), or the organic stores at either Tanglin Mall, Great World City and Bukit Timah (beside Coronation Plaza).

Hi StacyD If you're on Facebook you could try joining Bumps & Babes Singapore (it's mostly expats). There's a lunch each Tuesday for pregnant mums and new bubs. Quite a few of the mums are starting to give birth now but it's great to get new pregnant mums on board. I joined when I was about 20 weeks...

Hi Sandy2611

Not sure how active this post is anymore so suggest you log on to Facebook and join Bumps & Babes Singapore - http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=244557004093.

Lunch is once a week and is great to meet other expats and understand Singapore a bit more!

Australian / Western King Size Linen??

Does anyone know whether you can buy linen for Australian / Western king size beds in Singapore? We want to have an Australian king mattress made here (husband is tall) but as the length is 203cm and Asian kings are only 190cm, I think we may have a problem with linen. Admittedly, I haven't looked f...

Beladona, in case you want to use bleach, Linda does use it. I checked with her. Can't wait to go back to her now I know she's going to do a great job! :)

Hi Rong and annakarin82

Pretty sure some mums are meeting up at Cedele at Novena this coming Monday at 1.30pm. Annakarin82, did you join the Playgroup website or is that another Anna?

The post by the other girl was done on 5 February. Mine was done on 2 May - which is 3 months later. As I hadn't had a response on mine and then saw the other thread, I put a post on it. Hope that clears things up for you.

Hi beladona I went to Linda and thought she was great. She does very fine foils and gets right down to the roots. She doesn't use bleach, which is what I'm used to, so I'm probably not as blonde as I usually am (something no-one else would notice) but in saying that I'd definitely go back to her. Sh...

Who's complaining? I'm just trying to get as much information from people as I can. Obviously that bothers you?

Hi poodlek My advice is to google, google, google! And there is info on forums on this website too. My husband and I have very basic coverage :( through his employer but I was also directed to Pacific Prime who I think are based in HK but have an office here. In regard to public and private hospital...

Hi ellamaria

Does Linda get right down to the scalp with the dye? I've been to a couple of people (1 here) who just didn't get down to the scalp so I left the salon still having dark roots! Also, does she weave the hair? She has to. Please tell me she does.

Thanks!

Hi 24601 Sorry - I got the impression that you didn't have highlights which is why you thought it must be standard here! I had heard before I moved here that it was difficult to find someone good but never realised there was such a difference between asian and caucasion hair! Last time I paid SGD380...
