svc apts

Hi idterps: Sorry I haven't replied to your msg; trying to wrap things up here in the states & have been off the computer. Like you, I'm new to the forum & can't PM yet. Hubs checked out the Wilby & thought it was very nice but no availability (at least no 2 bdrms available). Still looking for a pla...

Kindle?

Any Singapore KINDLE owners out there? Thinking of buying one in US B4 we relocate later this summer but have read mixed reviews about use overseas. If you have one, are you happy with it? Have you had any difficulty downloading books? Reviews, info appreciated:)

serviced apartments

Thank you Kindcare! I know where Leonie View apts are (lived in Spore from 97-01). Would prefer not to be in CBD due to long school commute & am finding nearly all serviced apts reside here. Other than The Wilby, are there other serviced apts north of town?

Serviced apartments

Thanks for the reply Februus. As I'm new to the forum, I'm restricted from using the PM feature. I have basic questions: Is it clean? Would you recommend it to others? How accommodating is the staff? Is it family/pet friendly? Lastly, would you book it again?

Thanks!

"We lived in Clementi, but would have had to take the kids to a different location to be picked up/dropped off."

DayTripper65: Just curious, but are you referring to morning & afternoon carpool or the Activity Bus? Or, were you among the 1% of families that R.N.T. alluded to?

SAS Bus Routes

"You know the kids who attend SAS are on private buses, right? The route changes to suit them. Having said that, there are neighborhoods where the other students are too thin on the ground or just too far from school to make the commute work." My understanding was that for morning /afternoon carpoo...

SAS Bus Routes

Also moving this summer and am looking at same issues. Lived in S/pore B4 but didn't have to deal w/school & commuting issues. Woodlands/Sembawang not workable 4 us due to husband's commute. Am currently looking in Bukit Timah/Clementi/6th Ave/Farrer Rds (districts 10 & 21). I thought that the SAS b...
