Thanks very much uscate - I have contacted them and are now waiting for a reply. It also gave me the idea to contact the people that moved her from the UK to here, so they may also have a contact in the Singapore market. You are right, as a fellow pet lover, I want her to be safe and looked after as...

Moving cat to NZ

Hi,
We are moving to NZ next month and am wanting to move my cat from here with us.

Does anyone have any advice or recommendations of companies that do this or how you can go about doing it yourself?

Many thanks

Some advice for finding a doctor please

Hi, I'm 38 and have just found out I'm pregnant (about 7 weeks or so) for the first time. I have only been in Singapore for a couple of months, and this pregnancy was VERY unexpected as I was told by my doc in the UK that it would be difficult for me to conceive for various reasons. Can I bring my cleaning products?

When Crown (our movers) came to assess the household items for moving, I was told that it was no problem to bring all our cleaning products, so I stocked up on washing powder, dishwasher liquid, cleaners etc. Looking at their information pack, it now says that we can not bring most of this stuff wit...

Are prescriptions free for diabetics??

I am a diabetic, and as such all my medication (diabetes related and otherwise) is free in the UK.

Is there a similar situation in Singapore? If not, can anyone tell me roughly the costs for doctors visits and general prescriptions?

Thanks

I was out there recently checking out the place and did lots of investigations of like for like things, and it seemed with the exchange rate that everything was much cheaper in the UK, with the exception of soy sauce! Don't know if that is only be...

Can I bring all my food from the cupboard with me?

Me and my boyfriend are relocating to Singapore in the next couple of months and we need to shut down our life in the UK quite quickly. We have a large store of food (tins, jars, packets etc), all non-perishable and unopened - can we bring them with us?? His company is paying for the relocation cost...
