The maid dilemma. As I see it, there is no such thing as the rich or well off without the indigent. It is slavery and the question to be asked is who regulates what a slave should or should not have to do?

Even without a personal slave, anyone with money in their pocket is still at the top of the pile. As an analogy, if you enjoy Kentucky Fried Chicken, despite never wielding an axe; you still killed the chook.

I myself live very comfortably in Singapore, am fortunate enough to work little and earn much. However, as the son of very hard working primary producers in another country, I understand what I'm doing.

Toughen up and realise that if you are doing it easy, your foot is on someone else's neck, even if you can not see their face.

Though the Burger King has gone now. It is still being renovated. So it is just around the corner from the Crystal Jade Xiao Long Bao shop for anyone new to the area.

Once the mrt station entrance opens, I wonder if they will still be allowed to operate there, or if they will be moved on?

there is one in the intersection of Telok Ayer St and Amoy St, just in front of Amoy St. Hawker Centre, nearby Tanjong Pagar MRT. he is also doing the shoe repair. the ones in Holland Village only repair the shoes (and sometime bags).
