You cannot let the child live in a place without adequate support for those issues. I don't know how, but you need to make it happen. I'm so sorry mate. Fortunately my son made it mostly ok in Singapore.
Find yourself some good legal counsel with experience in the jurisdictions that count. Read up on the Hague Convention. Cut off the money to your ex.

it's kinda messed up. i've not seen my child for a long time. child's mom threatened to report me to local immigration and tax authorities (sg, us fed and ny state) if i don't fold. more has happened (cops, etc) but it's difficult to put them into words on here rn. not sure what the future holds, but i think the grind's just starting. take care, you lot. t 73

i thought i’d give an update
my child’s mother was reported (not by me) to CPS and investigated
i was given temporary custody for a few months, then it got extended by 12 more months
i’ve been back to being a full time dad for some time now - and my child’s mother is only allowed supervised visits
it’s tiring but i enjoy every moment with my toddler
there’s probably no happily ever after…
i know this arrangement will end, and this magical period of time will be over before i know it
however i truly hope our happy times together will last longer in my child’s memories than mine

Save the kid. You can buy enough time with legal maneuvering until they are at the age of majority.
I was a fully grown adult of 40 before I realised this; the only authority that can force you to do something is the court - because they have the monopoly on legal punishments. No one else (cops, the mother, bystanders) has any legal standing to force you to do something.
