Recommendations for IVF doctor

Post by laksh_n » Mon, 13 Dec 2021 1:41 pm

Hi expats,
Any recommendations for a good IVF doctor? the information online is very intimidating. We are trying to find a doctor who can be with us for the entire IVF journey. Understand that Dr. Ann Tan was really good but she does not practice any more.

Any guidance, personal experiences, recommendations would be really helpful.

Thanks a lot. :)

You should be able to call up any government hospital and make an appointment directly, where you’ll be provided with all the information you could need.

My friend used Dr SC Ng and successfully conceived on 1st try. Heard that his team of embryologists are good as well.

Agree with this. He has now moved to novena specialist medical center. Sincere IVF center. Service WAY WAY better than the past (as now they have teams of staff servicing the patient compared to the past where he only has 2 to 3 nurse and admin in his glenagles clinic)

Both my daughters are conceived with his help. But he is a bit old now...

I went through IVF with Dr Kelly Loi, and it was successful. Honestly, I had a lot of questions and nerves going into it, but she explained everything clearly and kept the whole process as calm as it could be. The team was responsive and checked in often, which helped me feel more at ease. Looking back, I appreciated how steady and organised everything felt, especially during such an emotional time.

Look for Prof Ng at Sincere

We tried IUI and two fertility, those didnt work

We were considering NUH IVF but dont waste time and money there, hears that their process not as thorough as private practices

Looking back, dont spend money on low probability technology and methods although they seem cheaper by session, but of you add them up, they become significant in cost

We thought it was the end of the road for us to conceive.

We met our neighbours friend during a wedding dinner. Wife is Singaporean and Husband is French. They went through the same journey as us and found Prof Ng. Yes, spend more. But yiu get the best treatment and bang for the money. I think the wife was able to get 4 to 5 eggs. And they managed to conceive 1 boy and 1 girl from 2 blastocyst.

We then tried Prof Ng. We retrieved 5AA, 5BA, and 4AB blastocyst and used the 4AB. Prof implanted on 13 Dec 2025 (Friday the 13th :) ) and we now have a boy born Aug 2025. We still have the 2 others for future.

The joy is unimaginable because no one else understood our journey.
