I would like to run the marathon this year and need all the motivation I can get. Does anyone know of any groups for running newbies like me, or interested in joining me for a run??

there is online support groups i think it is fabulous that you have decided to do a marathon you must have a strong will, well i know from experiance sometimes a strong will still needs a little help to get modervated. As well as online help groups you could have pen pals within the same area (marathon). If you find any help in what i have suggested then i am happy if not then i am happy that tried ^_^" but moreover you should start persuing training routines. That will get you in the mind set to do a marathon...
