A few detailed reviews of mine...
Halia, still my favorite restaurant in Sing:

Jaan (not worth the price), Le Tonkin (so-so) and Chikuyotei (only if you're seriously into Japanese):

Capsule reviews for a few places I've gone to recently:
* Aoki, Japanese restaurant run by the Les Amis group. Sushi lunches are
excellent, just don't go for dinner unless it's on someone's expense account...
* Magma, solid German cuisine. Perfect place to go when hankering for big chunks o' pork and sauerkraut! Reasonably priced, and I'm looking forward to their Xmas dinners.
* Tavolo, Italian food by a Japanese chef -- works better than you'd think, but quality was a little uneven. Not cheap.
