Hello, I will be relocated to Singapore early next month. I will be working near the Chinatown MRT. I am a 24 female and I will not be driving. My budget will be around 800-1000. Can someone recommend what area will best fit my need?
Thank you

There is this huge apartment is Outram Park called Pearl Bank; try looking for a room there. I lived there for a year and it is very convenient when you are working in the CBD area.
Your budget is good for just a room in your preferred area.

Might be a bit of a squeeze, as studios (mostly illegally converted) in PB are well north of $1000. People's Park apparently has dirt-cheap lodging though, and is regularly raided by immigration inspectors...
