Women during pregnancy are suggested to limit cell phone use to ensure safety of the baby.

Recent study suggests that pregnant women who talk on cell phone as few as three times a day could be doing damage to their unborn child. Here’s the link to this said study:

It also refers to the technology that was in the marked over a decade ago and the basic trend observed over all these years was to reduce the power of the gsm and other similardevices transmitters.
Apparently this paragraph was also overlooked: They add that there might be other possible explanations that they did not examine – such as that mothers who used the phones frequently might pay less attention to their children – and stress that the results "should be interpreted with caution" and checked by further studies. But they conclude that "if they are real they would have major public health implications".

It would appear that moms2be is planning on having a rat instead of a human being. That, coupled with the fact that ALL those reports' conclusions are only MAY results, with absolutely nothing conclusive. The CERN particle splitter the just restarted, MAY create a Black hole that will suck in the entire earth and she's worried that her cell phone is going to give her what? The world MAY go into another Ice Age, the nuclear powers might lose their cool and end life as we know it by blowing each other up. And you are worried about electromagnetic radiation that is one-"billionth" the amount of an x-ray?

Don't eat rice. It's been microwaved to kill the weevils. Don't drink the water, it's been flouridated, matter of fact, don't have any children, they might just survive and be as paranoid as you are. Just what we need.

Bet you've got a subscription to The National Inquirer as well.

What a load of poop. Why not go and live in the north pole to make sure you are completely free of whatever.

We are surrounded by radio waves and pollution every day, using computers, mobiles and microwaves etc and we all go on to have perfectly healthy babies.

The World Health Organization, based upon the consensus view of the scientific and medical communities, has stated in the past that cancer is unlikely to be caused by cellular phones or their base stations and that reviews have found no convincing evidence for other health effects.

A recent assessment was published in 2007 by the European Commission Scientific Committee on Emerging and Newly Identified Health Risks (SCENIHR). It concludes from the available research that no significant health effect has been demonstrated from mobile phone radiation at normal exposure levels:....

Too much alarmism in the world today. If you aren't going to use your mobile then you should eliminate your toaster oven, move away from any cellphone towers, get rid of your stove/oven (unless gas powered), and your television, for starters.
