Query on PR application through invitation and EP validity

I am graduating this year from NTU. I applied for PR through PR invitation when I got a job one month ago and they provided me a 3 months employement pass (like visit pass and seal in passport) and they asked me to renew it after three months. Now my employer terminates me, I still have more than one month validity on the EP and my PR is also in processing. what shall I do in this case.
1. Can I stay in Singapore even if I come out of the job until the pass valid
2. Can I continue my PR application process if I get a new job
3. Will there be any problem on my PR processing
4. Will I be given my student pass(had validity till august but returned due to my employement) again and allowed to find a job using my PR invitation?

Kindly let me know it soon. I would be grateful for your help.

The day you leave your job, you pass will be invalidated and you will be given a 2 week SVP.

You are supposed to notify ICA if anything on your application changes prior to the approval of the PR. If you don't, well.......... let your imagination be your guide.

No. You are no longer a student.

Gues you should have staying at your current job until you received your PR. You didn't indicate why your were "terminated".

Even if I find a new job, will there be any problem in my PR process. The company finds me, not a suitable person for them. The boss asked me to leave this week.
But the Ep they given me directly throught PR application, The company had done nothing on it, They just sealed on the PR application.
How can the company terminate my EP?
Should I directly got to ICA and terminate it myself?

You still have to notify ICA as they are who processes the PR application. As the company didn't apply for an EP outright, then you need to let ICA know. And, yes, it will probably impact your PR application at least until you find another job. But, if you don't let ICA know and you are found out, well, probably you would be sent packing.

As yours is a strange situation, I would suggest that you actually go to ICA and request to speak with an officer (not a front line clerk) and explain all to them. I really don't have any anecdotal evidence to go on, so anything I might say is only a guess at best.

Even I did not want to leave the job since it affects my PR process. But now I need to stay in Singapore for atleast 2months to find another job.
Will my current EP be terminated by ICA after all? My father is a PR here, I can take long term pass if necessary. But I need to know the progresses I should made right now on this issue.

I smell anecdotal evidence and "being made an example of" on this one. I hope I'm wrong, but is has all the attributes of being an perfect object lesson for other as an example of what can happen when families try to be funny with PR for their sons.

I do have anecdotal evidence for this situation. It happened for my classmate but she left her job instead of being terminated.

You go to ICA and tell them what happened. They will issue you with a SVP for a short period of time. They will also suspend your PR application.

You apply for a LT SVP, this is usually approved as you were given an invitation to be PR. This probably gives you 12 months in Singapore.

In that time you need to find another job offer. Once you have an offer, have the new employer fill out the Annex A to Form4A of your PR application. Take this to ICA and they will issue a new 3 month Temporary EP. Your PR application will become active again.

It should be pretty straight forward for you.

Just to clarify for others here as well, was your classmate's parents PR's? And please reconfirm that your classmate was a female and not a male with possible NS issues.

Actually our OP needs to clarify their gender as well as this may well impact what ICA does. I assumed that the OP was male but I may well be wrong.

My classmate is a girl from China who studied at a local uni for both undergrad and masters. Her parents are still in China, and they are not Singapore PR.

For the OP, it might help if you say your age and how long your father has had PR here. If he got PR after you were 21, then the interpretation will be different compared with him having it for decades and you not being included on it deliberately.

Actually I am 23 now, my father has got it two years back. I had no plan to come over here, so I did not apply for PR. But now I am working here after my masters here, so I applied. Thanks for the valuable posts.
