It is nice to know someone who is willing to chat in Canto. I have been here for a long time already but have not been speaking this language on a regular basis..

Had a look at the paper and turns out Mercury was right- not many places have that movie any more. The most central place is Suntec City Mall. How about this?

Update on this Friday on this thread:

From the responses so far, most can see the movie at 10.45pm, but not make dinner. In fact, I would probably have been late for dinner too, as I finish at 8pm.

So instead we'll meet at 10.00pm outside the cinema for a quick meet and greet and a quick drink or bite, before buying tickets and seeing the movie.

Are you guys going to join the others for dinner on sat night?I am new to the CGC group. Like somebody else, I have been living in UK for over 15 years and moved to singapore about 1 year ago.... like to meet more HK people so I can chit-chat in Cantonese.

I'm gonna try to be there... although it's a little late for me. I get picked up for work at 6:30am.... so 10:45 is soooo late. I'll definitely try to make for drinks (although, depends on how I feel... I have been ill this week!!!) We'll have to see about movie... not only because it's late, but also because I hate being ripped off by taxis at 50% after midnight!!! Hehehe

Need to see how attractive the movie is... hehehe
