Yes, many all round the world. Even children in Singapore are learning to play golf. You can see them in golf ranges like Bishan, Toa Payoh, Marina. Another new one is startin soon in Sept 2011 at Punggol near Riviera LRT

i've heard that Batam is really good value and a decent course cluster, or the slightly more classy Bitam.

Playing in a social day on the 17th, looks great.
