seeing obgyn but considering to change..any recommendation?

Hi,

I am quite new in Singapore, moved from Australia and 16 wks pregnant (1st pregnancy). I have seen Dr. Chan Kong Hon of Gleneagles (recommended by a friend who gave birth with him 20 yrs ago).

She said Dr Chan is very popular (hence the practice is always packed), very experienced and has a very good stitching skill. So this 'stitching skills' gets me! She also mentioned that the price is not cheap though.

After two appts I ended up paying more than SGD1000. I think this is TOO MUCH for me. 1st appt costs me SGD410 and 2nd appt cost me SGD640 (incl SGD230 blood test and triple test). I am considering to see if there are other doctors out there with reasonable fees and have good 'stitching' skills too.
Appreciate if any of you could assist.

I found an affordable one ( in Mount Elizabeth would you believe it? ).

Dr Kek was very nice and I found her bill more digestable than my previous gynecologist. *Happy*

I have been with Dr Anupriya Agarwal @ NUH and have been very happy with her care. She is a patient and friendly doc with very good surgical skills. She helped me get pregnant and delivered my princess.
Though I sometimes need to wait for her the waiting time is reasonable and during the consult I never feel rushed ! Strongly recommend
