hi, guys, my child got sick and we went to ER at KK Hospital. It was horrible long waiting and so many children. And doctor gave a wrong diagnose !! I advice you if your kid is very sick dont go there!!!! choose MountE @ orchard or NUH

I've had to go to ER a couple of times and can't say my experience was that bad.

The first time was a very long wait because it was the first day of Chinese New year therefore the number of Drs vs number of people off school was a bit overwhelming. The wait was 4 hours but the Dr we saw was fantastic.

Our 2nd trip was because my son broke his collar bone but this Dr arranged for the X Ray in the wrong place so thought he'd fractured his arm instead and just put him in a sling. When I went back a couple of days later for check up I saw a different Dr who spotted immediately where the fracture was and my son was put in a cast. The subsequent aftercare was very good.

Obviously as KK is a government hospital there are a lot more patients there and the cost is a lot lower than private. If you can afford to pay (or your company is paying) then go for private to avoid the long wait.
