Hello!
We moved to Singapore about a year back. I am now pregnant and Dr. Annapoorna Venkat was recommended by an acquaintance. It will help to know if anyone has any experiences with her? How good is she? This is our first child and I am worried i should be able to find the right doctor.
Thanks a lot!

`hi I would definitely recommend you to get Dr Anna as your gynae. She is very professional. When I was expecting my first one, I got her as my gynae and came to know that she is senior in NUH..she also has a clinic in Jurong East.
I went through 2 births with her.well, 2 other operations. I like the way she works with professionalism..and also recommended my mum in law to undergo her for polyps operation.
Well,, I also e-mail her whenever I have any health problems and she does reply.
Thanks!
Always have a smile on that face!

Hi,
Can someone help provide any contact number for this Dr?
Preferably her private clinic.
Thanks!

She was good with my wife's pregnancy years ago at NUH, but please make absolutely sure she will be there for the delivery - she suddenly went away for an overseas trip just when my wife was due, and we had a new male doctor assigned to us - this can be very unsettling and hard to accept at the last moment.

she is good, no doubt in it....something i did not like is she is not passionate enough to talk to patient and comfort them..bit lacking on this part..though i am not medical professional, i feel the way doctors potray something serious to patient in a nice way makes a lot difference..dr needs to need a bit of time to talk and know the patient..Also,I feel all the time in rush..i feel like she is pushing you out of the room before you feel yourself finished...otherwise is good dr.

I went to Dr Annapoorna for my mother’s uterus problem. Initially she was talking good, but during my consequent visits, she started talking rude. Dr used to forget what she told during the previous visit. for example, doctor asked my mom to stop taking iron tablet. but in the next visit she says why did you stop iron tablet. she is totally MONEY MINDED. She did lot of tests, D&C and gave us false hopes, but finally she suggested to remove uterus. When i said we will go to India for this operation, her behaviour was totally different. she expected it to be done through her.. Please Please avoid this doctor.

She is extra ordinary. I will always recommend her. She gives a very homely feeling always and will not put lot of pressure on the patient. She recently moved to sincere medical clinic in Novena.

Don't you mean extraordinary? extra ordinary suggests that she is not only ordinary, but extremely ordinary - one space changes it a whole lot!

worst doctor i have ever seen.
she killed my baby and responsible for my ill health.
she is the most negligence doctor.
she takes good amount of fee but not even spends 10 mins for one patient.
carelessly handles patients who are even critical.
because of her negligence i lost my baby, and now facing many health issues.
please avoid going to this doctor.

And you didn't complain properly, if you felt she killed your baby.
How did that happen anyway ?

A step in the right direction, however I’m not sure places like India are destinations that we should be traveling to at this point.
