Any language is tough to master -- me, I'm still working on my Osakan yakuza accent. (本間やな.アホが見るブタのケツ.) But spoken Japanese isn't all that tough, learning to read and write is a bit more challenging... although I did finally accomplish my objective of plowing through Yukio Mishima's Temple of the Golden Pavilion in the original this year.NBB wrote:Show off
Are you fluent? All I managed, after going out with my Japanese gf for six years, was a few sound bytes. I tend to be say "nani" a lot. It's a very tough language to master.
No, it's a site for Japanese people so what did you expect...?anmei wrote:no english language version in that website?
Depends. The u is pronounced short and weak if at all, especially at the ends of words, but more clearly if you're speaking politely. So you say hello to "Susumu-san" when handing over your business card, and slur "S's'mu" after the third bottle of sake.anyway,in japanese, how to say 'su' correctly?in some words, seems you only read the 's',but how to read names like 'susumu'?
