Hi,
currently we are having a Indonesia maid in Singapore. She has been working with us for many years. We will relocate to Thailand and want to bring her along.
Just wondering how to apply visa for her?
thanks
Jo

Could probably get some guidance from the agency. Otherwise check with MOM.

You need to check with Thailand, probably the Thai embassy. MOM won't be able to guide you on visa requirements for a foreign country.

Yes, though I assumed there would be some paperwork to get the helper out of SG.

True - there would be some paperwork involving relinquishing the Singapore work pass, but I would think that it would be secondary - the main thing of concern seems to be the work visa in Thailand.

Honestly though, Thailand probably has looser requirements so shouldn't be too bad.

Here is a work-around.
https://www.mom.gov.sg/faq/work-permit- ... estination
But you need to ensure to have her visa and Work Permit already for Thailand when you get there which may mean an earlier trip up to get it sorted beforehand. I have no knowledge on domestic manpower import to Thailand.
