Is it standard to ask for household register now for SC application?

Post by SGfan_2020 » Tue, 01 Oct 2024 12:09 pm

Hi guys,

I have a question about SC applications. Is it standard now for ICA to ask for both birth certificate and household register for foreign births? Or does this indicate the likelihood of approval/rejection?

Thanks.

As far as I’m aware, they ask for birth certificate or household registers, not both.

I’m not sure if providing a household register was an option in the past but they have always asked for birth cert during SC application. It has nothing to do with approval/rejection.
Yea that is what I thought. But based on what I heard, a PRC friend of mine was asked to supply both birth cert and household registers under sponsor application. Curious what that means.
Really just means they need more documents to verify information/do a background check, which they do for every application. There’s really nothing to read in between the lines here.
