Hard for a foreign spouse to find work?

Hello I’m a Singaporean married to a British. We’d like to move to Singapore but afraid that he cannot find work. I’m happy to be the main breadwinner, but is it hard for him to get a LoC or find a simple job? He’s 60 with no academic qualifications but has blue collar certs and experience. Do many foreign spouses end up just not working in sg? If you have a similar experience do share

You can search in the forum for foreigner spouses who got SC sponsored LTVP and PLOC.

Many employers don’t know what is LTVP & PLOC, have to educate them. Once they are aware about this, employment is generally okay.

Some employers may still think those from western countries are not willing to work blue collar jobs. My very ang moh hubby has worked in SG retail and as a technician on LTVP-PLOC before though.

The retail, F&B, beauty industries do love to employ LTVP-PLOC. Can start from there.
