My wife and I applied for SC citizenship recently and I'm wondering what our chances are, and what the average time before decision might be.
Our details:
- Both of us are late 30s, no kids yet (but we've been trying IVF here in Singapore)
- Our combined monthly salary is a little over 40k SGD
- Both of us are of Chinese descent, and I'm currently a U.S. citizen and wife is an ASEAN citizen
- Wife has been PR for about 3 years and I've been PR for about 1 year
- I have a doctorate degree from a top school (think Yale, Princeton, Harvard, Stanford) and wife has a master's degree in STEM
- We own a private condo
- I work in finance, wife at an MNC in the real sector
