Need help regarding PMLA ltvp assessment

Reading this gives me some hope. Here is me and my finance's background:


Male: a 41-year-old male Singapore citizen earning $5.8K monthly,
Femake: 30-year-old Malaysian citizen (non-Chinese, Thai ethnicity) on a work permit (not E-Pass or S-Pass) earning $2.4K here in Singapore.

We've been together for 1 year and 4 months now—very committed and planning our future here.

We submitted our PMLA application 7 weeks ago, but no outcome yet. I followed up via email with ICA, and they replied that they still need more time to review it.

We're booked for ROM in late July (about 3.5 months from now), but now we're stressing over the delay in the application.

I have a sneaking suspicion that much like the HDB policy, they kind of “give up on you” ever getting married once you turn 35. If my suspicion is true, then being 41 could put you at an advantage

The hesitation on PMLA could be to check whether you are being taken advantage of by this Thai-Malaysian girl. Again, just my suspicion based on what I’ve observed over the decades.

I suppose you meant to type 'disadvantage' rather than 'advantage'.

Right now, we are in limbo and we are wondering if going to my MP would help or not.

We find the whole episode to be puzzling because my fiance is in a STEM role.

No, I meant advantage. Why advantage? If they think at your age, this could be your last chance to get married and have kids… they might be more inclined to approve.

Hi, did u receive your PMLA result. Im in similar situation too, i applied on 26 March but yet to receive result. Kinda worried as my ROM is on 7 may
