Guidance of SC application with newborn

Hi,

We are currently considering the best approach to take for applying for Singapore Citizenship.

We were blessed with newborn this month, and we are working on getting his Indian documents and passport. Post that wife will apply for his LTVP. Baby was delivered in Singapore.

Our question is:
A. Should wife apply for SC again with newborn included in application together? or
B. Should wife apply for PR for newborn and consider SC applications in future?

Along with this, planning to submit Husband's PR application again soon.

Profile details about us below.

1. Wife / 30F / SG PR:
- Race: Indian
- Education: Bachelors and Masters from SG
- PR since 2019 (before marriage)
- Married Indian EP holder in 2022
- NOA 2025: SGD 300k+. Working in US MNC in SG.
- Applied for SC in 2021 (before marriage), 2023 and 2025. All unsuccessful. 2025 application outcome came in July 2026.
- Blessed with baby boy, few days after latest SC application outcome.
- We had updated ICA regarding pregnancy through feedback submission, but the outcome was still unsuccessful.

2. Husband (me):
- Race: Indian
- Education: Bachelors from India, Masters from SG
- EP since 2020 (before marriage)
- NOA 2025: SGD 160k+. Working in SG GLC.
- Applied for PR in 2021 (before marriage), 2023 (PTS), 2024 (Family Ties). All unsuccessful.

Your username fits. You seem to be in a big hurry. What’s your rush? It seems like you are trying to shortcut the system, which usually never works (unless you are a rare talent/highly desired).

Normal path to citizenship: EP -> PR -> SC .

Your wife has been fortunate enough to get PR… the logical thing to do is first get the other family members on PR via FTS… then after a couple of years pass, apply for SC as a family.

If you’re lucky, you’ll all be citizens before Junior goes through the P1 exercise.
