Nearly a decade since the peak! How interesting, I would think the rental and sale prices would rise concomitantly.

The problem with appealing anything in Singapore (such as a tax assessment or court judgment) is the predilection of the authorities to whack you harder if possible. I would never appeal an ARV value lest the IRAS decide it should go up and not down.

Only thing I see having a slight impact on regular people is the GST hike which still would be illegally low in EU for example.

All the others are only relevant to people who make crazy amount of money or own a lot of fancy properties.

One of those unfortunate things that when people want more free stuff like healthcare, government needs to collect the money from somewhere.

Living cost going up everywhere is another thing called inflation that's been missing so long that people have forgotten about it or are too young to have experienced it before.
