Harsh words

Post by IrishinSing » Fri, 19 Aug 2005 5:58 pm

*Sigh* I love how people become really courageous at the other end of a keyboard.

The reason they post here and not getting into normal social circles is that they'd be smacked around or laughed at for behaving so badly.

So - for the rest of us..... perhaps its better to ignore.

Me: So new I have not even unpacked yet.

Hi!

I'm new here in Singapore as well! I would be very glad to gain some new friends here! I live in Bukit Batok. Anyone near my place who is also looking for a new friend?

Looking forward to chatting with you soon!

Just moved to Singapore and would love to get to know interested and driven people over here. Love traveling, culture, the arts, sample local cuisine etc.
Interested?

Everybody can make friends here. :)

Let's be friends in this tiny country.
Can't be avoided I guess. A lot of the locals can be so goddamn friggin' racist! I've been here more than half a year now and although I have met a few broad-minded people I always have to sit on my hands to keep them from scratching the eyes out of certain denigrating people who far outnumber the nice ones.

Pardon my sudden ranting, there's nothing I hate more than people who judge you based on stupid stereotypes regarding your supposed kind.

Hello to All

My situation is similar. Been here a couple of months but never had time to go out due to work. I have suddenly started daydreaming. I'm sure Singapore has a lot to offer. I only need to know where to go, to have some clean no strings attached fun, sounds cliched but true. I suppose meeting other newbies like me will definitely be fun while we learn from each others experiences... I can be contacted at [email protected]----------

hi everyone,

Welcome to Singapore.
I hope everyone enjoy Singapore and like fellow Singaporean here.

I am a gal from Singapore. I am interested in knowing different countries cultures n values. I do get to travel but sometime time is short too find out more during travelling.

I hope I have more expats friends so tht I can able to know different culture and value. I can enjoy myself more when I travelled.

yeah, some who post their contacts here and want to make more friends are just so damn rude!

"You are?"
"u r?"
"Do I nod you? I do not talk to people I don't nod."

are they from Pluto, where "want to make more friends" might actually mean make more enemies.
